What do I Need to Bring to the Test Center for Taking the PMP Exam?

You are advised to bring the following items to the test center for taking the PMP Exam:
  • Two forms of identification (see the post for valid forms of identifications)
  • A copy of the exam confirmation email from Prometric (though not absolutely required, it's better to carry a copy along)
  • Water
  • Light Snacks
  • A sweater or a jacket (just in case it's cold inside the test center)
  • A calculator (though most probably you won't be allowed to use your calculator)
  • Simple Ear-plugs (test center usually provides their own ear-plugs)
  • Yourself :)

  1. Hi
I have a impo Q reqarding Id card to be carried on PMP exam date. As per PMi handbook - either drivers license, passport, military id and national identity is okay for primary id - the name should be exactly like the pmp application or scheudling letter.

Well I have a problem here. My exam is coming soon - in July 2013. and i just realised that my drivers licence original is lost and my passport is expired. i have voters id of govt and the name is exactly right. is this voters id is sufficient to be taken under the purview of national identity. Pl answer to my issue as I do not have time to renew my passport or drivers licence

  2. Hi,

Your old passport, even though expired, should still serve for the purpose of establishing your identity, along with the voter ID card.

If I were you, I would write to PMI support and confirm the best way out in this situation.

    Hope that helps.

    Good luck
