  When will PMBOK Guide, Sixth Edition be released?

PMI revises and releases a new edition of the PMBOK Guide every 4 years. PMBOK Guide, 5th Edition was released in Dec 2012. PMP and CAPM exams were updated in Aug 2013 to align with the 5th Edition. Going by the trend of past 2 decades, PMBOK Guide, 6th Edition is expected to be released in Dec 2016 or thereabout, and PMP and CAPM exams are expected to be updated in mid-2017 to align with the 6th Edition.

    Hello,

    PMI postponed the release of the PMBoK Guide 6th edition towards the end of 2017; therfore the exam update could be expected for beginning to mid of 2018.

      Thanks for your comment. From what I see on PMI.org, it says the release would be in Q1 FY17. Can you share the link to the page that says it has been postponed?
